The buffalo on antelope island are usually slow meandering giant creatures that captivate the imaginations of small children and adults. I try to imagine how they used to roam free all across this beautiful country. Well, here they still wander freely and they have a big beautiful island to do it on. On this evening, I had just finished visiting two of my sisters who were camping there, and I left before sunset. These three buffalo were not going slow or taking it easy, they were enjoying the perfect weather by engaging in some play running and fighting. It is rare to see them running like this, but they reminded me of children on an endless playground romping and loving life!
