Ever since I learned that when buffalo or bison babies are first born in the springtime that they are a beautiful orange color, I have wanted to get a good picture of one. I have spent many frustrating hours only to get far away shots that were not great. However, this Fall, I was ecstatic to see a group of buffalo crossing the road in front of me and amazingly, there were three new, orange babies, and I got this shot from the comfort of my truck.
