When the flies hatch in major numbers along the Bear River, the Yellow Headed Black Birds and many other birds get to gorge on them. It is so entertaining to watch them catch flies–reaching and craning their necks and then pecking and moving impossibly fast in catching those small flies with their beaks–so cool!
