Upper Little Cottonwood Canyon is one of my favorite places. After getting some great shots of some moose, I pulled off the road hoping to see a rock chuck or a bird when this handsome old Rock Chuck appeared by first just sticking his head out from a bush, then after a few minutes, it ventured out enough for me to get this shot. I have never seen a Rock Chuck with this cool coloring before.
