Canada geese seem to be everywhere I go and even though their incessant honking can be annoying, they are a beautiful bird! I hiked across the river in the Thousand Islands Bird Sanctuary in Michigan near Appleton and found a comfortable place to sit on one of the many islands where I was mostly out of sight, cause when geese see a human below, they usually change course, but this flock did not see me and I got this formation shot with some first light wonder.
