I was driving through a high end neighborhood in North Salt Lake, Utah. I was surprised to see 2 birds crossing the road in front of me. They looked like quail, but they were noticeably bigger and more colorful. I followed them around with my camera out my window and got this shot with yellow flowers in the background and when I looked it up I found out that they were chukar partridges.
