There was an early September snowfall in Colorado and I had a little bit of time before work, so I decided to spend some time with the wary whitetail deer. I had been hiking around for a while when I spotted this perfect whitetail buck specimen—my first shot just shows his head and neck sticking out of the snow, then he withdrew quickly to a small draw below me and I was able to sneak just close enough to lock my focus on him right when he took off, so much like the reindeer you will see like Rudolph in the movies. I got a sequence of him taking off and flying, and subsequently landing of course.
